Barcelona's Xavi impressed by Real Madrid signing spree

Barcelona midfielder Xavi has been impressed by Real Madrid's summer signing spree.

The Spain international said: "I think it is respectable and they're signing the very best there is on the market. It's good for the Spanish Liga and the competitiveness between Barça and Madrid."

Xavi added: "Florentino shouldn't try calling me, though. I wouldn't be happy there. I feel too much for Barca. I am a true fan."
