Barcelona's Xavi: I would never play for Real Madrid

Barcelona midfielder Xavi says he could never consider joining Real Madrid.

Unlike teammate Carles Puyol, who admitted he would entertain the idea of joining Real if an offer arrived, Xavi said: "When one has played for Barca, then it is law that you cannot join Real Madrid."

"It is ridiculous and something absurd to think that I would ever consider joining that team."
