Barcelona's Van Gaal: Depor didn't deserve to win

Two late goals inside the final ten minutes helped Deportivo La Coruna beat Barcelona 2-0 yesterday.

Lionel Scaloni struck in the 82nd minute and four minutes later striker Alberto Luque finished off Barca.

An angry Barcelona trainer, Louis van Gaal, snapped: "Depor did not deserve the victory, but they were very effective."

"Apart from the first five minutes, they did not create any dangerous chances."

"Bonano was threatened twice in the second-half and, from this, both goals arrived."

Depor trainer Javier Irureta said of the victory: "It was a very tactical game. Barcelona had a lot of possession, but we picked our moment and finished them off well in the final ten minutes."
