Barcelona's Messi won't start against Real Madrid

Lionel Messi won't start in Saturday's game for Barcelona against Real Madrid.

While his registration is again in question this week, it's unlikely Barca coach Frank Rijkaard will start Messi after the teenager's international commitments with Argentina.

Messi will arrive back in Barcelona on Friday from Qatar, while his immediate rival in Barca's midfield, Ludovic Giuly has been resting since last Monday as the Spanish Liga went on recess.
