Barcelona's Edmilson stunned at Real Madrid slide

Barcelona defender Edmilson admits he can't explain why Real Madrid are having such problems this season.
 
"The truth is that with the quality of the players that they have in defence, in midfield and in attack, I think that something must have happened there," he said. "I do not know whether that it is with the players, the coach or the board."

"From the outside it is difficult to know, but you do wonder how it is possible that with so many good players and so much quality, they do not win and play good football."

"That is what makes me think something has happened, either inside or outside the team, among the players or to do with the atmosphere in the dressing room."

The Brazilian added: "[Luxemburgo] is a great trainer and has an impressive quality about him, but beyond the tactical question a trainer must be able to remove problems and ensure there are no cliques."

"In every club though, when the team has not won, the coach is always to blame."
