Barcelona, Real Madrid go head-to-head for Benzema

Real Madrid and Barcelona will go head-to-head for Olympique Lyon star Karim Benzema.

DiarioSport says Real Madrid sports director Pedja Mijatovic has already made contact with Lyon about securing first refusal on the teenager.

But Lyon are unlikely to agree to any such option, with Barca waiting in the wings prepared to offer £30 million to land France international Benzema.
