Barcelona president Laporta thanks Real Madrid fans for "exemplary sportsmanship"

Barcelona president Joan Laporta described Saturday's triumph at Real Madrid as "an exhibition".
 
"It was an important three points and now we are going to continue adding more," said Laporta. "The match was extraordinary. It has been a football exhibition, with a very effective style."

"I must congratulate the players for the game they produced. It has been a great day for the Barcelonismo."

Laporta also acknowledged the Santiago Bernabeu home fans: "I would like to emphasize the behavior of the Santiago Bernabéu fans that recognized the exhibition which we produced and applauded our team in an exemplary demonstration of sportsmanship."
