Barcelona could wreck Real Madrid's plans of prising Cesc Fabregas away from Arsenal.
 
New Bernabeu president Ramon Calderon has made signing the young Spanish midfielder one of his main objectives after being officially elected earlier this week.

But ironically his hopes of landing the 19-year-old World Cup star could be ended by his team's greatest rivals.

El Mundo Deportivo says Barca have the right to veto any Fabregas move to a Spanish club and take him back themselves.

The paper reports the Gunners agreed to the clause when they took Fabregas away from the Nou Camp in 2003.
