Barcelona battle Real Madrid for Laudrup brothers

Barcelona and Real Madrid are going head-to-head for the sons of former star Michael Laudrup.

Barca sports chief Txiki Begiristain has already spoken with Laudrup about taking both Mads and Andreas for trials, while Real Madrid B coach Michel has made contact with the Dane's agent, Bayram Tutumlu, about the brothers.

Mads, 17, is already an U21 international and currently on the books of FC Copenhagen.

Sixteen year-old brother Andreas plays with the Lyngby youth team.
