Barca May Move For Morientes

According to the latest reports out of Spain, Barcelona are considering making a bid for Real Madrid's Spanish international striker Fernando Morientes.

The capital club are keen to cash in on the 27-year-old but considering their past they might very well elect to take the high ground by turning their nose at an offer by their sworn enemies.

AS Roma have been the side most consistently linked to Morientes over the course of the summer, but earlier today Giallorossi supremo Franco Sensi confirmed that his club have lost interest in the Spaniard.
