Baptista tells Barcelona: Wash dirty linen at home

Real Madrid midfielder Julio Baptista has offered some advice to great rivals Barcelona.

The Brazil international was reacting to the claims of Barca chief Xavier Salas Martin this week that some players had been "separated" from the squad and reported as injured to the media.

Baptista said: "These moments happen at all clubs, we have also experienced it here. It is a difficult time for them, but you must just believe in your work."

"I would only say that you should wash your dirty linen at home."

He also had words of support for Ronaldinho.

"Ronaldinho is a great player. If he is well prepared, he has the talent to do anything. He's been the best player in the world and can come back if he wants to, it depends on him."
