Baptista: Luxemburgo couldn't get ideas over to Real Madrid players

Real Madrid attacking utility Julio Baptista believes sacked coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo failed to get across to the players his tactics during his reign.

Baptista said: "No player wants to see their trainer dismissed. It has happened and the group must be united because we know what there is to confront. It will be complicated for a little while, but in a short time we will fight for everything and we will play well."

"When a trainer comes he has his ideas and his way to work and he tries to apply that to the team. Sometimes he is unable to - and that is what happened with us."
