Striker Elvir Baljic is unlikely to play another minute for Real despite being included in the squad for this season's Champions League.
Board members at Madrid took the decision to transfer-list the Bosnian striker to avoid any contractual problems.
The last thing the Spanish champions want is for Baljic to try and annul his contract especially as he cost Real 3.5billion pesetas (£13m) from Fernabahce in 1999.
Real are hoping that AC Milan will take Baljic off their hands but the Madrilenos are insisting that Milan pay a similar fee to the 3.5billion pesetas they forked out two years ago.
Baljic's agent Dino Pasali is currently in Milan where he will be told what the Italians are prepared to offer for the player.
