Bale angering Real Madrid teammates with selfish play

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti is demanding Gareth Bale become more of a team player.

AS says Bale infuriated Real teammates during defeat to Valencia - with both Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo angered by the Welshman's antics.

A flashpoint came on 58 minutes, with the score at 1-1, when Bale failed to pass to Benzema, who had an open goal in front of him.

The Frenchman immediately turned on Bale, while Ancelotti told Jese Rodriguez to start warming up. Ronaldo also was seen shaking his head before six minutes later Nicolas Otamendi put Los Che 2-1 ahead.

Ancelotti, who again defended Bale yesterday, is standing by the winger, but has held talks with him about showing "greater collective commitment".
