Baldini heads Real Madrid push for Juventus trio

Franco Baldini will spearhead negotiations for Real Madrid over loan deals for Juventus' best players.
 
Former AS Roma director general Baldini is joining Ramon Calderon's new regime at Real and has already begun talks over a partnership arrangement with Juve as they face relegation over the Calciopoli scandal.

Rather than battle Real for their players, Juve are prepared to send their top earners to Madrid on-loan with a view to bringing them back to Turin once Serie A promotion is won.

Baldini has told Juve's new board that Real are happy to takeover the contracts of their highest paid players, including Emerson, Fabio Cannavaro and Gianluca Zambrotta, but won't consider paying any loan or transfer fees.

The three Juve players mentioned are those that Capello wants. He would also like to bring to Madrid goalkeeper Gigi Buffon, but knows the popularity of Iker Casillas and is reluctant to start his new career by putting the fans offside.
