Baggio joins Real celebrations

Roberto Baggio is the latest addition to next week’s Centenary celebration match against Real Madrid.

The Divine Ponytail was drafted in as a late replacement for the injured Christian Vieri, who will be out of action for a month with a thigh strain.

He is the fourth Italian player to be a part of this exhibition encounter along with Alessandro Nesta, Paolo Maldini and Alessandro Del Piero.

The referee will be Pierluigi Collina, while ex-Italy and Milan boss Arrigo Sacchi is co-managing the All Stars along with Brazil’s Luiz Felipe Scolari.

The game will take place at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium on Wednesday evening.
