Atletico Madrid skipper fires relegation warning at Barcelona

Atletico Madrid skipper Carlos Aguilera has fired a relegation warning to Barcelona.

"It is premature to speak of relegation, but their situation is difficult," he said yesterday.

"They have changed the trainer and it is important to work on the players' confidence. When they played us, it was one of the worst Barca teams that we have faced - not because of the players - but the confidence. As soon as we scored, they were broken."

Aguilera then sent this stark warning to Barca: "When we were relegated, we had a great team and great players."

"When you get in such a situation, it's very difficult to overcome because you're not used to it."
