Atletico Madrid raid Real Madrid for Academy chief

Atletico Madrid have appointed Julian Munoz as the club's new academy director.

Munoz moves to the Vicente Calderon after working with Real Madrid's youth setup alongside Ramon Martinez.

Munoz became available after Real appointed Michel as the club's new academy chief.

He will be working with one of the most exciting youth systems in Europe, which has produced the likes of Fernando Torres, Jorge, Arizmendi and Gabi over the past two years.
