Atletico lose Maxi and Ibagaza for Madrid derby

Atletico Madrid will be without Argentine duo Maxi Rodriguez and Ariel Ibagaza for the city derby against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu on Saturday.

Forward Maxi, Atletico's second highest scorer this season with nine goals, picked up a thigh strain in Argentina's 3-2 defeat by Croatia in midweek, while playmaker Ibagaza has failed to recover from a thigh injury.

However, Atletico coach Pepe Murcia has included Argentina midfielder Luciano Galletti after more than a month out injured.
