Atletico Are Two Players Stronger

Spanish capital club Atletico Madrid completed a pair of signings on Tuesday in the form of RODRIGO FABRI and Matias Lequi.

Rodrigo, a 27-year-old Brazilian midfielder, has signed form city rivals Real, though he has spent the last three seasons on loan for Gremio.

Lequi, a tough-tackling 22-year-old Argentine defender, has been recruited from River Plate, for whom he did well for during last season's Copa Libertadores.

Atletico have been extremely active during the off-season having already brought on Kiki Musampa (Malaga), Demis Nikolaidis (AEK), Veljko Paunovic (Tenerifa) and Diego Simeone (Lazio) for their second successive season in the top flight.
