Athletic Bilbao striker Llorente calm over Real Madrid rumours

Athletic Bilbao striker Fernando Llorente is staying cool over increasing transfer interest.

Llorente has been linked with moves to both Real Madrid and Barcelona in recent weeks, and other clubs are sure to start taking more notice if he continues in the same vein.

However, while admitting the interest in him was flattering, Llorente insisted this week: "I'm very well in Bilbao and only thinking about Athletic. I have three years of contract, and if Athletic don't want to sell me I will continue here."

Llorente also knows he needs to enjoy the good times while they last, saying: "Things can change from one week to another. The moment you ease off things can go bad. When everything's going well it's very nice, but you have to be calm, because not every game can be like that. What goes up, comes back down."
