Arsenal scout watches Real Madrid's Guti in action

Arsenal have been linked with unsettled Real Madrid striker Jose Guti.

The Spanish international is frustrated with the lack of regular first team football he has played this season and is understood to be considering his future at the Bernabeu.

Marca says Arsenal posted a scout to watch Guti in the Spanish Cup tie with Terrasa last week.

Guti's salary at Real is well within Arsenal's budget and the Gunners know this is a prime time to speak to the player with his first team chances limited.

The striker has two years left on his current deal.
