Arsenal's Wenger hits back at Real Madrid over Beckham tap claims

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has slammed Real Madrid accusations of unsettling their midfielder David Beckham.
 
"You want to accuse me of tapping up Beckham? It's completely wrong," he stressed after previous run-ins with the Spanish club over bids for Nicolas Anelka and Patrick Vieira.

"If I want a player at Real Madrid, you can be sure I will call them or they can call me. But if they want one of my players, they usually do not call. I would do it properly if I was interested."
