Arsenal's Pires: I couldn't resist Real Madrid

Arsenal match-winner Robert Pires has admitted he'd find it difficult to resist Real Madrid if the Spanish giants came knocking over the summer.

Pires' strike yesterday helped Arsenal lift back-to-back FA Cups, but he revealed afterwards: "It would be difficult to refuse Real Madrid."

"As far as I'm concerned, I've had no approach from either the president of the coach. But if the Real dossier was put in front of me, I'd have to think about it."

Pires also confirmed that he'd been in contact with Valencia.

"Valencia have been in touch with me and are interested in my services," he added.

"They want me to go to them and it's a pleasure to know that a club like them have been following me this year."
