Arsenal's Edu: Tough to reject Real Madrid

Arsenal midfielder Edu has denied he has signed a pre-contract with Valencia.

It was reported that Edu's brother, who also acts as his agent, had agreed terms with Valencia about a Bosman move next season and that the player, himself, had already undergone a secret medical at the club.

But Edu told AS: "I've also heard that I have an agreement with Barcelona and that my brother has spoken with Real Madrid and that I will go there!"

"No, the truth is that I haven't made up my mind."

While insisting he values all three Spanish clubs that are chasing his signature, Edu admitted: "It is very difficult to say no to Real Madrid, because it is a club with great power.

"And when they want something, they make it very clear. They are not timid in their pursuit. Although things do not always turn out as they want."
