Arsenal's Edu reveals Real Madrid talks: They ended up signing Gravesen

Want-away Arsenal midfielder Edu has revealed he almost joined Real Madrid in January.
 
The Brazil international is leaving the Gunners when his contract expires at the end of this season and told BBC Sport: "I sincerely do not know which club I will be joining."

"Real Madrid wanted me, but they then chose to sign Thomas Gravesen (from Everton)."

"If I was to go there, I would have to fight some great players for a place in the team. So I will have to be careful about which club I decide to go to."
