Arsenal, Everton alerted as McManaman considers Real Madrid future

Real Madrid midfielder Steve McManaman has admitted he will consider his future at the end of the season.

The England international has failed to hold down a regular place in Real's first team this season and told Radio Marca, "I want to play regularly and not be on the bench all the time.

"At the moment I'm happy, but I will reassess my options at the end of the season.

"Money isn't everything and as a footballer I want to be playing. When a player isn't, he cannot be happy."

McManaman rejected reports in the English press yesterday linking him with Arsenal. He is also believed to be interesting Everton boss Dave Moyes and Italian giants AS Roma.
