Arsenal dismiss Real Madrid claims over Wenger

Arsenal have dismissed claims from Real Madrid presidential candidate Juan Miguel Villar Mir that they have a commitment from Arsene Wenger.

The Madrid radio channel Cadena Ser claimed last night Wenger would quit the Champions League finalists to take the reins at the Bernabéu after a dispute with the Gunners hierarchy.

Wenger, who is working as a commentator for French television at the World Cup, is under contract to Arsenal to 2008 and he has pledged to see that through.
