Arsenal cost-cutting could hit Vieira deal

Patrick Vieira faces a pay-cut if he is to sign a new contract with Arsenal this year.

Vieira has stated he wants to stay at Arsenal, despite the interest of Real Madrid and Juventus.

However, the Daily Star says Arsenal's cost-cutting this year will mean Vieira taking a huge pay-cut if he is to stay on at Highbury.
