Arsenal captain Cesc: Canales great deal for Real Madrid

Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas has backed Real Madrid's deal for Racing Santander youngster Sergio Canales.

Cesc, while refusing to discuss the prospect of himself moving to Madrid, told AS he was happy to see Real snap up the 18 year-old.

"I like it and I like him. It is good that the Spanish teams are investing in Spanish players," said Cesc.

"I've seen he has scored some very good goals, but I have not followed him long enough to know him."
