Arsenal boss Wenger not interested in Owen

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger doesn't see the value of bringing Real Madrid striker Michael Owen to Highbury.
 
The Observer says Owen has already rejected overtures from Newcastle and, according to a source close to him, Everton, Bolton and the German side Schalke.

While there are those on the Arsenal coaching staff who see Owen as the man to complement Thierry Henry, Arsene Wenger is apparently not among them and would take a great deal of persuading to change his mind.

Owen is desperate to return to the Premiership after Real Madrid closed the signing of Brazilian pair Julio Baptista and Robinho in the last 48 hours.
