Arbeloa insists Real Madrid good enough to win Double

Real Madrid fullback Alvaro Arbeloa insists they're on course to win a Champions League and Primera Liga Double this season.

Madrid's expensively-assembled team took some time to gel this season, but they have won six of their last seven La Liga games to sit two points behind leaders Barcelona.

"I think we all agree that we have made progress," Arbeloa told realmadrid.com. "We have stepped up our game, we are scoring a lot and our defence is strong."

"The team needed time, which is hard here at Real Madrid."
