Anthuenis expecting defeat

Anderlecht coach Aime Anthuenis is expecting defeat in the clash with Real tomorrow, stating they are the best team he has ever faced.

Anderlecht left for the Champions League clash in Madrid this morning, and Anthuenis believes his side will be right up against it from the start.

He said: "We have to hope for two things. Firstly, that Real do not reach the level they can achieve with all their top players. Secondly, that we give it all we can with another 20 per cent in sheer will power. Only then, is a good result is possible."

"Real are simply the best team I have ever played against. Playing in Madrid last season was one of the most difficult moments in my career - We were lucky to get away with a 4-1 defeat!"
