Real Madrid's French star Zinedine Zidane has been voted the best player of 2001 by 'Onze Mondial' and will pick up his award on Thursday.
Zizou will be presented with the 'Once de Oro' trophy by footballing great, Michel Platini at the presentation ceremony, due to take place at Madrid's Santiago Bernabéu stadium at 1pm tomorrow.
The France international will have to clear out a place in his trophy cabinet having already won FIFA's player of the year (1998 and 2000) and France Football's Golden Ball (1999).
