Angel di Maria rejects bumper Real Madrid contract offer

Angel di Maria's future at Real Madrid is in doubt.

The Argentina winger is seeking a new contract upgrade, but has rejected Real's latest proposal.

El Economista says Real tabled an offer worth €3.5 million-a-year, which would put Di Mara on par with striker Gonzalo Higuain and worth €1.5 million-a-year more than he is currently earning.

But the winger is unimpressed and has turned down the deal.
