Andrade favours Barcelona over Real Madrid

Deportivo La Coruna defender Jorge Andrade is digging in his heels over his next destination.

Depor president Augusto Cesar Lendoiro is in negotiations with Real Madrid over the Portugal international's sale, however the centre-half favours a move to Barcelona.

Real are discussing a cash-plus-players deal with Lendoiro, which would see the likes of Alvaro Meija and Ruben de la Red move to the Riazor in exchange for Andrade.

However, Barca can trump their bitter rivals by handing over a straight £8 million to clinch the defender's signing.
