Ancelotti convinced youthful Real Madrid will dominate Europe

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti believes they can dominate Europe after winning the Champions League on Saturday.

Ancelotti is convinced about the quality of his youthful squad.

"I'm well aware of the importance of this victory," Ancelotti said to Gazzetta dello Sport. "I'm also aware that this victory can open an important cycle here."

"This team has just started to win, we are full of youngsters, talent and will."

"When I signed for Madrid, I had a very clear idea that the Champions League trophy was the primary aim of the club this season."

"This is not just for us but for other top teams, the (domestic) league comes second."

"But considering this was going to be the club's 10th (European title), it was worth double."
