Ancelotti confident of Real Madrid board support

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti is confident of the support of president Florentino Perez.

Talks over a new deal at Real have stalled since Christmas.

"I’ve felt supported by the club from day one. On the other hand, I think I’ve got experience when people demand that I take a heavy-handed approach," said Ancelotti.

"Since I started the problems were because there wasn’t enough heavy handedness. Well my light touch has let me win three Champions Leagues."
