Álvaro Medrán thrilled with winning Real Madrid debut

Álvaro Medrán was thrilled to make his Real Madrid debut in their 5-0 win at Levante.

The midfielder took to the pitch in the Ciudad de Valencia in the 79th minute in place of Luka Modric.

Medran beamed: “It was hugely satisfying and a dream come true. I came here with the intention of helping the team and the coaching staff decided to bring me on for a few minutes. All the teammates congratulated me and I'm happy to have been able to achieve a dream. I'm going to remember everything because it is an unforgettable day."

“In the First Division all the matches are difficult and the good thing is that the team had a great match. I paid attention to Ancelotti's instructions and I was really keen to get out on the pitch. If he can give us academy players chances we'll be delighted with that."
