Alessandro move in pipeline

Real are looking to build their squad for the future and are tracking right-back Alessandro, currently at Brazilian side Atletico Paranaense.

The 24-year-old has attracted the attentions of Real's sports manager Jorge Valdano.

Real are keen to bring a right-back on board should the club lose Michel Salgado or Geremi Fotso during the close season transfer market.

Ahead of Alessandro on Real's shopping list is Deportivo defender Manuel Pablo, but it seems that even though the player is open to the suggestion of a move to The Bernabeu, his chairman, Augusto Cesar Lendoiro, plans to block him from quitting the La Coruna-based side.
