Agents: Cassano delighted with Real Madrid move

The Italian agents involved in Antonio Cassano's move to Real Madrid say he is delighted with the deal.
 
The former Roma striker signed for Real last night and his agent, Beppe Bozzo, said: "The negotiations with Roma were drawn out, but Antonio is happy. He didn't want to leave as a free agent and is thankful for all the Sensi family has done for him."

"It is a divorce with the club, but moving to Real Madrid is a dream come true."

FIFA agent Giampiero Pocetta was an intermediary in the talks and added this was a loss for the country. "There were tough times in the negotiations, but everyone came out on top in the end.

"It's a great shame that such a talented player is leaving Italy, but he couldn't stay at Roma. When a marriage is on the rocks, it's best to end it. Besides, Antonio is eager to prove that many of the rumours about his behaviour and attitude are untrue."
