Agent rubbishes reports linking Man Utd with Raul

The agent of Real Madrid ace Raul has rubbished reports that Manchester United were offered the Spanish international.

Reports yesterday suggested Real had encouraged United to bid for Raul and were willing to listen to offers at around £40 million.

It was claimed that United also were prepared to meet Raul's new contract demands, which so far have been refused by Real management.

However, the striker's agent, Gines Carvajal, said: "Raul's been what? Raul has not been offered to anyone, including Manchester United. Raul isn't going anywhere."
