Agent: Rival offers for Real Madrid's Helguera

The uncle and agent of Real Madrid defender Ivan Helguera has revealed several offers from European clubs have arrived for the Spanish international.
 
Juanjo Helguera admits Ivan is disappointed by Real's insistence that no new contract talks be held until November. The defender's current deal expires next summer.

"We spoke with Real Madrid and we decided to postpone his contract negotiations," Helguera Sr told Radio Marca. "To me it seemed correct and for Iván it is not bad either."

"If the offer is good and we reach an agreement we will continue and if not, the world will not end."

He added: "They are following Ivan in Europe and several clubs want to sign him."
