Agent reveals Real Madrid push for Juventus striker Ibrahimovic

The agent of Juventus striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has confirmed the interest of Real Madrid.
 
Ibrahimovic is Real's big summer transfer target and the player's agent, Mino Raiola, revealed: "I confirm the interest of Real Madrid to contract Ibrahimovic."

"Some months ago they tried to sign him, but Madrid received a 'no' from Juventus. It is clear that Zlatan continues pleasing the Spanish club."

Indeed, Real's Italian agent, Enzo Bronzetti, has been maintaining talks with Raiola about Ibrahimovic's situation since the early months of the season. The Swede has so far baulked at Juve's efforts to open serious negotiations over a new contract - his current deal expires in 2008.

"I am not speaking with Juve about Zlatan's contract," added Raiola. "Nor do I intend to."

Bronzetti also admitted: "Ibrahimovic is one of the great young players in the world and therefore is of interest to Real Madrid. Now it is up to Juve to decide ..."
