Agent reveals Leeds offer for Depor winger Munitis

The agent of new Deportivo La Coruna winger Pedro Munitis has revealed Leeds United wanted to sign the Spanish international.

Before he left Real Madrid last week, Munitis had offers from Leeds, AS Monaco, Olympiakos, Mallorca and Villarreal, says the player's agent Javier Gonzalez.

Gonzalez also slammed Racing Santander, who were Munitis' first option: "From start to finish he wanted to join Racing, but they just did not get in touch."

The winger's agent blamed Racing's Santiago Diaz for trying to wait until the last minute before bidding to get Munitis on the cheap.
