Agent: Real Madrid shouldn't doubt Makelele reasons

The agent of Real Madrid midfielder Claude Makelele insists the French international can back up his absence from training by medical records.

Marc Roger said last night: "Everybody knows that Makelele is suffering very badly psychologically and is very nervous."

"If the doctor says that he needs three or four days of rest, then we shouldn't doubt him."

Makelele presented Real trainer Carlos Queiroz with a doctor's certificate confirming an anxiety attack before skipping training yesterday.
