Agent: Real Madrid's Portillo could quit Fiorentina

The agent of Real Madrid striker Javier Portillo has confirmed he could cut short his season-long loan with Fiorentina in January.

"Javier is convinced that (coach Emiliano) Mondonico does not have confidence in him," said his agent, Herminio Mendez.

"He does not expect an automatic spot, but at this moment he is very sad as he hasn't been granted even a small chance to show what he can do."

"Portillo has a contract with Fiorentina until June, but if he does not play he cannot be satisfied."
