Agent: No Real Madrid talks over new Casillas deal

The agent of Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas insists no contact has been made "for three or four months" regarding a new contract.
 
Casillas is entering the final year of his current deal and could easily sign a pre-contract with a rival club in January before leaving Real for nothing next summer.

While Manchester United have agreed not to move for Casillas after calling a transfer truce with Real, all bets could be off if the Madrid giants decide to push for Cristiano Ronaldo.

The goalkeeper's agent, Gines Carvajal, revealed: "At the moment there are no negotiations."

"It's been three or four months since the president called me to express his desire that Casillas continued with Real Madrid and I said to him that he also wanted to remain with the club."

"But still, we are hoping for that call so we can begin to negotiate."
