Agent: Man Utd interested in Real Madrid's Geremi

The agent of Real Madrid midfielder Geremi says Manchester United and one other Premiership club are interested in the Cameroon ace.

"I am hoping there may be a deal to be done with Manchester United but we have got a long way to go," Barry Silkman, who is representing the player's interests in England, told BBC Sport Online.

"United's priority is Ronaldinho and it is between them and Barcelona for his signature."

"Until his future is decided, I don't think United are prepared to talk about Geremi."

"The way things are at the moment, that (£6 million) would be a really good fee, but even at that price I don't think Middlesbrough are in a position to buy him."

"There is another Premiership club who we are speaking to but they are not in a position to buy until they can sell."
