Agent: Madrid Have Not Received Any Offers For Robben

Arjen Robben does not know whether he will be a Real Madrid player next term even after his father and agent met with club officials this week to discuss the matter.

The Dutch international has been widely tipped to be sold to raise finances for new president Florentino Perez's ambitious spending plans, but no offers have been received for him.

Should any interested parties make a move then the scenario may change, but Robben's father Hans, who is also his agent, has explained that Madrid are happy at the moment.

"I have had a meeting with [Jorge] Valdano and [Miguel] Pardeza to speak about my son's future," he told AS. "They have told me that they not received any offers for Arjen."

Selling Robben could be tricky given the huge loss that the club may have to accept on a player that has suffered numerous injuries in two years at Madrid.

"Arjen wants to stay and selling him would be difficult because Madrid paid €36 million to Chelsea for him."

When asked whether Valdano or Pardez assured him that his son would be definitely part of Manuel Pellegrini's plans, he was uncertain.

"I cannot respond to that, but I can say that they said they were happy with him," he added.
